Wool locks are sections of a sheep's fleece that has been cleaned, and possibly dyed, but not carded. They retain their natural shape and are perfect for adding colour and a textured effect to your felted projects. I like to add them to flat pictures for added impact or to my 3d projects as hair. When adding them to a project I like to attach the thicker end which tends to be fluffier, leaving the pointy end loose, but its always nice to experiment to find how you prefer to use them.
These locks come in small 2g bags which is enough for a small project, when seperating them work slowly and gently from the thick end towards the point to avoid ruining the locks apearance.
